On July 4, 2025, the Zeon Thailand Group, comprising Zeon Advanced Polymix Co., Ltd., Zeon Chemical Asia Co., Ltd., Zeon Chemical Thailand, and E-Coating Asia Co., Ltd., jointly organized the Safety Day 2025 event — a key annual initiative aimed at reinforcing workplace safety culture and enhancing employee awareness of occupational health and hazard prevention.
This year, the event was graciously hosted by Zeon Chemical Asia Co., Ltd., who welcomed participants from all affiliated companies to its Rayong facility. The event featured a comprehensive program designed to empower employees with practical knowledge, risk assessment awareness, and technical safety insights.
The day began with opening remarks and an internal safety briefing highlighting recent safety performance, near-miss case studies, and lessons learned across the Zeon Thailand Group. This was followed by a special keynote session delivered by an external expert on the topic of Machine Aging — a critical focus area addressing the risks associated with long-term mechanical wear, failure prediction, and the importance of preventative maintenance practices in high-demand production environments.
Throughout the event, participants were also engaged in knowledge-sharing sessions covering:
- Common industrial accident scenarios and prevention strategies
- Best practices in hazard communication and safety behavior reinforcement
- Case-based discussions on root cause analysis of real-life incidents
The event concluded with a guided plant tour of Zeon Chemical Asia, allowing attendees to observe actual safety protocols in action and exchange best practices related to machine safeguarding, process safety, and layout ergonomics.
By uniting all affiliated companies in a shared commitment to “Safety First, Always,” the Zeon Thailand Group continues to cultivate a proactive safety culture that aligns with global operational excellence standards and ensures long-term sustainability in its manufacturing operations.
